Our Coalition
The NC Voters for Clean Elections Coalition is made up of members from a wide range of constituencies from organizations across the state. From the NC Council of Churches to the NC Banker's Association to the NC Conference of branches of the NAACP, the diversity of our coalition reflects the widespread, grassroots nature of the Voter-Owned Elections movement. These organizations have realized that the current campaign financing system (and its dominance by special interests) can impede their organization's goals. They recognize that a campaign financing system funded exclusively by small donors and the public would help facilitate a more participatory and accountable democracy.
Join Our Coalition
Nearly thirty organizations---from the AARP to the NAACP---are active members of our coalition. These groups work actively with NCVCE, joining us at press conferences, sending emails to their members, and investing time and resources into the coalition's work.
