If we are to solve the greatest problems of the 21st century—we must end our elected officials’ dependencies on special interests. Public campaign financing is a proven way to create a cleaner, more accessible system of elections in North Carolina. With your financial support, we can expand these programs and continue to make our state election process work better for average voters and the public interest.

North Carolina Voters for Clean Elections is a not-for-profit corporation. It neither supports nor opposes political candidates. However, because we are a 501(c)4, contributions are not tax deductible, but still worth making.
It takes entirely too long to finance a campaign, especially for a challenger, against a multiple term incumbent.
This would really benefit the candidates who are out there trying their best to raise even a few dollars
Personally, I wish we could provide transportation to voters ---no matter how they lean
We need to know where the support for candidates come from
Getting an amendment to the US Constitution is a long and possibly cumbersome process. Maybe we can approach this in a different way. But I do not favor this decision by the court. We definitely need it changed somehow.
I truly wish we could have single districts again. I realize voting rights laws have to be observed and honored, but there has to be a better way than campaigning thru multiple districts for one seat.
